A perfect get-away......relax under the blue skies of the Sandhills at......... Ainsworth Inn, a Boarding House B & B, and experience life in the vast beauty of the wide open spaces. Originally the boarding house offered a good bed and a hot meal for the farmers and ranchers and even expectant mothers who lived too far from Ainsworth, the shopping hub of north central Nebraska, to get back home the same day. Today, each guest room has a different theme. Choose the bedroom that fits your mood. Your choice of Western, with a mural of the Sandhills, Country, Victorian and Quilts.

As you enter the building, your are greeted by a provacative young woman in stained glass, entitled "Waiting for Guests". She is holding the curtains back and looking for travelers along Highway 20. Browse the Ainsworth Inn Antique and Gift Shop full of antiques, collectibles and handmade gifts.

Our huge country breakfast consists of fruit, main dishes, breads and hash brown potatoes, made from locally grown potatoes.

Just five hours from Lincoln, Omaha or Rapid City, SD; 2.5 hours to Grand Island, Norfolk, Chadron or Sioux City, IA; 2 hours to North Platte, the Ainsworth Airport will accommodate small jets.
