Carriage House Bed & Breakfast, Mount Airy, North Carolina

A Colonial home built in 1950. We have two bedrooms with private baths and private entrances. The Rose Room is wicker with Andy Griffith pictures pertaining to the Andy Griffith Show. It also has a private balcony and can be rented as a suite. The Victorian Room is mauve with rose decore.Soon to open, the Antique Room is purple with violets.Each room is furnished with a small coffee pot and coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. The home is located within walking distance of Downtown, and it is located in the State Historical District. A community center is across the street. We provide a horse-drawn carriage ride through the oldest part of Downtown Mount Airy, or past the homeof Andy Griffith and the Andy Griffith Playhouse. A full or continental breakfast is provided and a collection of the Andy Griffith Television Show is available.
