Page Manor House, Aberdeen, North Carolina
The Page Manor House, a ten room Victorian cottage built in 1914, sits on seven manicured acres atop Page Hill. The grounds surrounding the Manor are a natural sanctuary of magnolias, long-leaf pines, English garden, beautifully bedecked swimming pool, lighted tennis court. The veranda with its flora, tile floor, overhead fans is a haven that all guests cling to.
Inside, eyes move first left to the spacious living room, then right to the dining room with rose toned floral patterns, then to the green stairway runner with floral vinings running on both sides.
The sun room which is very aptly named because it worships the sun all day, and the den with its 200-year-old Southern Pine paneling are most cozy hideouts for relaxing guests.
On the second floor are three romantically decorated king/queen Bedrooms with private baths, fireplaces, TV/VCR, 310 count linens.
The "penthouse" has a king bed, private bath, amenities of the other bedrooms; truly a romantic getaway.
The breakfast served from 8 to 10, as you wish, is presented by menu the night before for guest selection. Starters consist of Kona coffee, fresh juice/fruit. Eggs Benedict, amaretto croissant French toast, lemon souffle pancakes are the choices today; tomorrow the selections will be different.
