Historic Ravennaside is the birthplace of the Natchez Trace Parkway. Mrs. Roane Byrnes lived at Ravennaside her entire life and led the effort to create the 450-mile long parkway. Ravennaside is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is the last historic mansion built in Natchez. It is Natchez' finest example of Colonial Revival architecture and has 11,000 square feet under roof. At least 50% of the furnishings are antiques original to the home. Come enjoy a soothing dip in our jacuzzi in our 1907 conservatory, enjoy a leisurely stroll through our four acres of gardens, and relish your location in the heart of the historic downtown Garden District of Natchez. All guests, as our gift, receive a horse-drawn carriage tour of the historic city.
