Richmond Victorian Inn, Richmond, Vermont

The Richmond Victorian Inn is a lovely, restored 1850's Queen Anne Victorian home located in a small town, 12 miles east of Lake Champlain and Burlington, Vermont's largest city. Nestled in the foothills of the Green Mountains, the Inn has a large yard filled with maple trees and flower gardens. The Inn is decorated in the comfortable, country Victorian style, and includes many antiques. With many attractions and recreational opportunities within easy driving distance, you are invited to share the warm, friendly hospitality in all four seasons. We are near the Long Trail and other hiking/walking trails; there are backroads to explore by car or by bicycle; there is boating, fishing and swimming in area lakes, rivers and ponds, and in Lake Champlain. Crosscountry or downhill skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing and ice skating can be enjoyed in the winter months. Shopping opportunities include antiques, outlets and shopping malls. A full country breakfast, featuring Vermont food products (Harrington smoked bacon & sausage, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters coffee, and locally produced maple syrup), is served family-style each morning in the sunny dining room. The Inn can also host small meetings. You can sit on the front porch and watch the world go by or curl up in a rocker and enjoy a good book. The Stewart family and their 2 small, very friendly dogs welcome your visit any time of year!
