The Painted Lady is a Victorian home constructed in a 1887-88 as a residence of "gentility and refinement" in 19th century Waterloo. The home is tall and deep with a bay area, numerous angles in the exteror and a genuine slate roof.





We offer two guest rooms: The Victorian room is decorated with dark rich reds and greens with a stenciled ceiling. Sleeping accomodations are provided by a full size solid oak carved antique bed and matching dresser. Cathedral doors open up to a wicker and plant filled sun porch. Period antiques complete the decor. Located on the second floor.





The Sweetheart room is decorated in ecru and soft pinks and greens. It offers a queen size 4-poster rice bed. A private half bath is attached to this room on the second floor.
