York Street House Bed & Breakfast, Lambertville, New Jersey

Our gracious 13 room 1909 Manor House on three quarters of an acre of landwas constructed by George Massey as a twenty-fifth wedding anniversary gift. Massey settled his family in the historical river village of Lambertville just after the turn of the century. The house was not only the talk of the town, and in December 1911, our home was featured in House & Garden Magazine, with all its the modern conveniences including a central vacuum that still stands in our cellar. In April 1997, we acquired the ORIGNAL blueprints, over 100 pages, to assist us in returning the home to its full architectural splendor.

A B&B since 1983, York Street House is at once, both elegant and comfortable. With its winding three story staircase, matching antique Waterford crystal sconces and chandelier in the sitting room and cut glass doorknobs on the second floor to the original tile and clawfoot master bath with its leaded stained glass window, the preservation of details will delight you at every turn.

A gourmet breakfast is served in our oak trimmed dining room with its built in leaded glass china and large oak servers, looking out over the lawn and sitting porch. Feast your eyes on original art by Gilbert Bolitho, Jack B. Yeats, Rodriguez, and Autorino.

Relax on our quiet proch furnished with wicker rocking chairs or curl up on our down chaise on a snowy day in front of a wood-burning fire. Hot & Cold beverages are always available, along with homemade cookies for snacking.
