Adams House, San Antonio, Texas
Adams House was built in 1902 by German immigrants in what is now known as the King William Historic District. This soaring three-story brick house, adorned by four large, airy verandahs, wears the beauty and charm of another era. Your visit will be steeped in history, with all the modern comforts to make your stay pleasant and memorable.
Finely crafted red pine woodwork and 12 ft. ceilings are featured throughout the house. Large pocket doors separate the parlor and dining room, which showcase beautiful wood paneling and china cabinet original to the house.
Tree shaded landscaped grounds, with brick and flagstone walks and sitting areas, are ideal for relaxing conversation or peaceful, quiet solitude.
Each guest room has a queen size bed and is tastefully decorated in antiques appropriate to the era. Some of the bathrooms have an antique footed bathtub.
San Antonio's beautiful River Walk winds through our neighborhood, making a scenic path for walking or jogging to downtown.
