It was originally owned by Sylvester and Sarah Patterson who managed fruit orchards in nearby Talent. The house remained in the family for several generations with daughter Rose and husband John Potter in residence during the 1930's and 40's. By the early 1990's the property was subdivided and the house was converted to a bed and breakfast inn. In late 2000 it was purchased by the Grants. At Patterson House we offer casual and comfortable accommodations in our art-filled home. Each air-conditioned room as a firm queen bed and private bath. The English Garden room, upstairs in the main house, reflects the cool green tones of an English country garden. The Rose Room also upstairs, is decorated in blush tones, with rose print coverlet and curtains. The Cottage, a private unit in back of the house, is ideal for a romantic interlude. It is decorated with a country theme in lavender tones, and has a full bath with shower tub. In your leisure time, we invite you to enjoy the view of the beautiful Rogue Valley from our pleasant front porch or large side deck. You are welcome to have a picnic on the deck or use the gas barbecue grill.
