Vichy Springs Resort, a two hour drive north on Highway 101 from San Francisco, is one of California's oldest continuously operating hot springs resorts. Opened in 1854 the original buildings have been completely renovated and individually decorated. Bed & Breakfast is offered for our guests in 17 rooms, 2 suites and 8 self-contained cottages. A few feet from your room await the 14 natural tubs built in 1860 and used by the rich and famous in California's history including Jack and Charmaigne London, Mark Twain, Teddy Roosevelt and his daughter Alice, Ulysses Grant and pugilists Jim Corbett and John L. Sullivan.
Vichy features naturally sparkling 90 degree mineral baths, a communal hot tub and olympic size pool that will gently caress your cares and stress away. The baths are backdropped by a five- million year old travertine/onyx grotto formed from the Spring.
Vichy has 700 acres for your hiking, jogging, picknicking and mountain bicycling pleasure.
Vichy Springs offers Swedish massage, reflexology and herbal facials.
