This former quarter horse breeding ranch has two redecorated guest rooms with queen sized beds, private baths, ceiling fans, and a scenic view from dormer windows inside the main house. The Nest is now open over the garage and features a sitting room, bath, and separate bedroom with brass bed. Coffee is brought to the balcony 30 minutes before breakfast. Inside the main house, you awaken each morning to the aroma of special blend coffee and breakfast cooking. If you wish, coffee would be served on the patio. After breakfast, take a stroll through the oak trees, enjoy the manicured landscaping, and watch the quarter horses graze lazily in pastures of rolling hills. The Family Room offers the warmth of a wood-burning fireplace (in season), TV, and room to gather for meeting and visiting. Country breakfast (or something very special) served in the formal dining room. Enjoy watching an early morning sunrise from the patio.

Local attractions close by include Athens' antique shops, and the Freshwater Fisheries Museum, which has world's largest black bass in captivity on display.
