This historic log and stone in was built as the founding of this mountain community located at the base of Pikes Peak. It has served as the post office, community center, land office and general store. Nestled in the Rocky Mountains, Chipita Lodge offers high quality sevice and surroundings, the perfect combination for a romantic getaway.

Original furnishings and post office boxes have been incorporated in the decor. A large stone fireplace graces the common area and, outdoors, the hottub overlooks Chipita Lake. Theme rooms include a hand made aspen log bed, clawfoot tub and antiques.
