It has extensive gardens, a pool, pond with a canoe, tennis court, and 70 acres to explore. Our buildings are all on the National Register of Historic Places, and include a barn (ask to see the surprise in the loft!), a carriage house with hideaway upstairs, and a romantic cottage with roses in the garden. The 7000 square-foot main house has high ceilings, wide hallways, antique furnishings, a sunporch with fireplace, and a fruitwood paneled dining room. Breakfast is served here on antique china and includes fresh farm products. We might start with homemade hazelnut granola and fresh raspberries, fresh orange juice, an interesting muffin or scone, coffee, tea, or chocolate, and continue with crepes hollandaise with black forest ham or zucchini frittata and apple sausage, or potato pancakes with sauteed apples and bacon. There are 28 wineries to explore in Yamhill county, many antique shops, a great rodeo if you're here around the fourth of July, local festivals, miles of bicycling, and at least 6 really good restaurants.
