Cross country skiing, hiking and mountain biking trails surround High Meadow. Two pristine lakes for swimming, fishing, and canoeing are very close(one within easy walking distance)
Our three bright Swedish-style bedrooms with skylights have lovely views. The charming sunny dining area looks out on Hogback Mountain and a small lake.
Patrice, an artist/potter/chef who sells her unique ware and preserves, has a culinary degree among others. From her organic gardens and "the wilds", she prepares breakfast (included) and dinner (by request). Asian, Indian, Italian and regional American cuisine are her specialties.
Guests are welcomed to use kitchen and refrigerator to economize!
Patrice has lived and traveled to many places abroad and especially likes to have guests from overseas.
There is always an array of unusual tame and wild creatures (such as moose, deer, bear,fox hawks, coyotes and more that live on and near the property. Patrice's hens supply the necessary breakfast eggs!
Workshops in mushroom collecting, wild edibles and medicinal herbs are periodically held at High Meadow.
Ask about baby sitting, and pet sitting!
