Isaac Merrill House, North Conway, New Hampshire
The Isaac Merrill House is a 225 year old Inn. Built in 1773 by Isaac Merrill, the Inn was originally a farm home. In the early 1800's, the family began to allow artists from Boston to stay at the Inn during the summer. It was probably one of the first B&B's in the valley. By the middle of the century, the family sold the Inn to the Russell family and was then converted into a full time Inn. The rest is history.
Located in North Conway's Village of Kearsarge, the Inn's quiet country setting allows every guest an enjoyable stay. This village, once named "The Village of Inns" is at the Base of Mt. Cranmore. Yes, we are only 2 minutes to the Lifts !
