The Grape Arbor Inn consists of two brick mansions built in 1832 and 1835 close to Lake Erie in the historic village of North East. The former Bester Town and Hampson Homes have been restored and renovated as a luxurious and romantic Bed and Breakfast Inn. Eight rooms and suites (two of which have kitchens) are furnished with antiques, local artists' works, private telephones, color/cable televisions, VHS players, CD players, air-conditioning and private baths.
The elegant breakfast includes freshly ground "Arbor Blend" coffee, seasonal fruit and juices, home baked muffins and a delicious entree such as fresh fruit stuffed waffles with warm maple syrup or an egg casserole with fresh meats and cheeses. Guests may dine in the firelit dining room on wintry days, while warm weather finds diners on the sunporch or patio.
