Ruddick-Nugent offers three well appointed rooms in the elegant setting of an 1884 Greek Revival house occupying a full city block in architecturally significant Columbus, Indiana. The house, originally a bright yellow Queen Anne, was remodeled to its current style some time after the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. The owners/innkeepers, Dennis and Joyce Orwin, have taken 18 months to restore and modernize the property to preserve the period ambiance. Improvements to house and gardens will continue for years to come. The hosts provide excellent service to all guests, from flexible check-in times to early morning coffee service, and superb breakfast dining. Brochures are available upon request. We can also accommodate small parties, rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions and luncheons.
