The Apple Orchard Farm Bed and Breakfast is situated in the restful, rolling Shenandoah Valley, midway between Harrisonburg and Staunton. Our tri-level home nestles into the shoulder of Round Hill, overlooking North River and the Valley with the Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance. The river invites canoeing; Round Hill woods beg to be explored; the hammock and the swing under the deck offer respite on a summer's day; and cool iced tea and coffees served on the deck are a perfect end to a day in "The Valley." The day begins with a full breakfast of seasonal fruits, often of our own picking, apple muffins and homemade whole wheat breads, and fresh eggs from our resident hens all served with freshly brewed gourmet coffees or tea. The rooms have comfortable full-sized beds with pleasant sitting areas. The "Country Sampler" and "Rose Wood" rooms on the upper level share a bath of pastel blue. The "Family Suite" has a private bath. Handmade quilts grace the beds in each room. From their windows guests may look out upon flower and vegetable gardens and vistas of the valley and mountains. All rooms are air conditioned for our guests' comfort. Situated off main roads, the grounds are quiet, peaceful and rural. Guests awaken to the songs of birds and the distant lowing of cattle to have coffee on the deck. A family room for relaxing, visiting, and watching cable TV is available for our guests' pleasure.
