Coquina Gables is reminiscent of the era in which it was built, the roaring 1920's; A time of men in tails, languid women in haute couture gowns, and parties a la The Great Gatsby. Since one could imagine great authors gathering here for inspriation and relaxation, we have named our suites after 1920's Pulitzer Prize winning authors. The main house has been lovingly preserved and features cathedral ceilings in the great room, original hardwood floors, and hand-hewn Honduran heart pine beams. It has three king suites, F.Scott Fitgerald, Ernest Hemingway, and Sinclair Lewis, all have ocean views, and are elegantly decorated with antiques and luxurious 100% cotton linens. The private Garden House offers two queen poolside suites, the Agatha Christie and William Faulkner, each with ocean, pool, and garden views. The Agatha Christie also has a full size sleeper sofa in a separate sitting room, dining table and mini-frige. All suites have their own private tiled bath. relax your mind and refresh the senses.TM
