The B&B unit is a 700 sq. ft. apartment in the hosts newly built home. It has a large bedroom with both a queen and twin bed, a fully outfitted kitchen, dining-living room area, full private bath with tub and shower, its own heat zone and water heater. The unit is decorated in blues with rainbow colored comforters and matching sheets. It is located in a quiet, safe, newer neighborhood with an excellent view of Gastineau Channel & Mt. Roberts & Mt. Juneau. Bald eagles and herons can often be seen. The unit has a private entrance and parking. We are located ten miles south of the airport, and 14 miles south of the ferry terminal, on Douglas Island. The bus stop is 1 1/2 blocks away. Your hosts were born and raised in Juneau, and your hostess is an avid hiker and cross country skier. The B&B is very private, a perfect place for honeymooners and weary travelers. It is a pleasant 30 minute walk to downtown Juneau.
