Inn at Blue Stores2323 Route 9Hudson, New York 12534 United States (518) 537-4277 FAX: (518) 537-6608 ptrob@valstar.net http://www.innatbluestores.com (Calculated from a total of 3 ratings) Rate this Inn Constructed in 1908 as a farm for a retired New York City merchant, the Spanish Mission architecture of the Inn is today the centerpiece of a 100 acre modern farm which features a farmers market on- site. Clay tile roofs, stucco exterior, expansive porches, stained glass fixtures, black oak woodwork, and leaded glass entry create a unique craft movement atmosphere further enhanced by antique furnishings. Blue Stores is a historic crossroads in the Hudson River Valley midway between New York City and the Adirondack mountain scenic area. Located just 2-1/2 hours from New York City and in the heart of surrounding tourism attractions makes the Inn an ideal starting point for day excursions into an area that is steeped in historical sites and dotted with farms. Nearby Hudson, a one-time whaling town, with early American architecture and perhaps the largest concentration of antique shops on one street in the U.S. is perfect for an afternoon or full day of strolling.
