The BlackSmith Inn is a contemporary , round "Eagle's Nest" structure, cedar sided to give a western flavor. The first and second floors both have extensive decking with a large patio designed for handicapped accessibliltiy. Idaho Falls is only fifteen miles south with easy freeway access on the way to West Yellowstone. The unique round design allows vaulted ceilings in four of the six guest rooms. Each individually decorated room includes a private bath, queen sized bed, and a mural to complete the western atmosphere. The living and dining area has plenty of comfortable seating and features artwork by local artists. We offer a full breakfast with fresh ground estate coffees. Rigby is the hometown of Philo Farnsworth, the inventor of modern television. The historical museum has displays in his honor along with local pioneer artifacts.
