Hinchings Pond B&B is a "new rustic" Adirondack Inn designed and built as a Bed and Breakfast. This is a unique, sun-filled lodge. It presents a gourmet bed and breakfast experience in a lodge at the edge of a beautiful glacial lake in a remote pristine wilderness setting in the western foothills of the Adirondacks.
Built by the host family on 125 wilderness acres, the lodge overlooks a private 18-acre, 50-foot-deep glacial lake . Located in a tall pine forest and crafted in the tradition of the Great Camps of the Adirondacks, the use of cedar and cherry provide a casual and relaxing ambience.
In summer, the crystal-clear spring-fed lake is ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and canoeing or just enjoying the sun at the sandy beach. Hiking and biking the many miles of backroads and trails is a favorite summer pastime.
In winter, the area offers some of the best cross-country skiing in the northeast. The winter scenery about the lodge is breathtaking. Downhill skiing is also available within 20-minutes at the Snow Ridge Ski complex.
