The Egremont Inn was built in 1780 as a stagecoach stop and Tavern on the Albany-Hartford run. 19 unique guest rooms on the second and third floors offer a variety of bed sizes and bath styles. Three spacious sitting rooms on the first floor provide plenty of room to relax with a book, or watch TV. We are close to all area attractions, both outdoor and indoor. Unlike the busier towns in the county, South Egremont is off the beaten path, away from traffic and crowds, so you can really get away on your getaway. Breakfast is always included in our rates for our guests. The Egremont Inn also has a restaurant on site, serving dinner Wednesday through Sundays. Featuring classic American Country cuisine on two different menus, the restaurant has live music Thursdays and Saturdays. Guests can choose to sit in either our elegant dining room, or our informal tavern, or sit at the bar. The Inn is open every day of the year, so travelers can get the most out of all seasons the Berkshires have to offer. We have rooms to accommodate families and frequently host business functions, as well as weddings and receptions.
