Gillum House Bed & Breakfast, Shinnston, West Virginia

North Central WV bed & Breakfast catering to business, family, rail-trail, and overnight stabling

Welcome to our home. The aroma of fresh baked goods greets guests as they arrive at the Gillum House Bed & Breakfast. The low-fat food tastes great and is homemade "from scratch". When possible, West Virginia products are served (maple syrup, honey, jams...).

New in 2006 Gillum Room has en suite private bath. Terry robes are in the closets for guest use. All books on the second floor are for the guest to read, enjoy, and take home, compliments of your host. Built in 1912, the house has all the original woodwork, mantles, and transoms. A doll collection and many antiques are found throughout the house.

Located 7 miles west of I-79, the Gillum is 50 feet from the West Fork River Rail-Trail, a 17 mile scenic rail trail between Shinnston and Fairmont. When there is snow, the trail may be used for cross-country skiing.
