A Capitol Place is a privately entranced apartment Bed and Breakfast in our 100-year-old Victorian townhouse that is just off Lincoln Park in the tree-lined Historic District of Capitol Hill. It is convenient to the Metro and within walking distance to the Capitol, the Library of Congress, the Smithsonian Museums and the Tourmobile Tourist stop. Newly renovated and furnished in a welcoming and comfortable mix of antique and traditional furniture, our B and B is a daylight English basement apartment – the entire lower level of our home. It has a bayfront windowed living room/dining room, a fully equipped kitchen with stove and microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker and toaster and a refrigerator stocked with breakfast makings and snacks for your enjoyment. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, and the bath is modern with a tub and a shower. There is also a sitting room with a desk, library bed, and shelves of books for your reading pleasure. Our guests enjoy sharing refreshments and conversation with us in the main house, and we enjoy sharing our home and city with them. Parking is provided.
