Home of former congressman, 1888 brick Italianate with wrap-around veranda and view of wooded property. Just 20 minutes south of I-80/York interchange, 1 block off of Hwy 81, major U.S. north/south highway. Quiet house and neighborhood. Raspberries, mulberries, apples in the woods. Squirrels, bunnies, birds, butterflies, and fireflies everywhere.



Tin ceilings, stained glass windows, family photos and antiques, footed tubs, pedestal sinks, homemade quilts and jam, served with a French country flair.



"The French Connection"--queen sleigh bed set in west bay window, sofa, shared bath, picture books and photo albums and memorabilia from Sandra's travels to France and Quebec, "Lefevre" family story.



"Demoiselle Room":--east/south windows, Eastlake antique furnishings, double bed, sofa, "demoiselle" (young miss) decor, , shared bath.



"Alice's Window-on-the Woods"--whimsical wonderland room with the only view of the woods. Two single beds and lots of woodland creatures as roommates. Special rates for children traveling with parents.



"Rainbow's End"--king/twin beds, armoire, southern exposure, stained glass window and door, private whirlpool bath.



Hosts are down to earth, hard-working, friendly. Ken farms with his son. Sandra teaches foreign language. We love family, fitness, traveling, meeting new people, and our home. We want to share it with you!
