The Sutter Creek Inn is the first Bed & Breakfast in California. Established in 1965, by owner Jane Way, this Georgian home dates back to 1859. Situated on historic "Highway 49" in the town of Sutter Creek just a few steps from shops & dining. Known for it's quiet and peaceful gardens, find your private spot under a shady tree. The Sutter Creek Inn is a place with cozy, comfortable decor without telephones or television to disturb your romantic stay. All eighteen rooms have private baths,many have patios or firepaces. We have four rooms with swinging beds that guests find very romantic. Two of our remodeled rooms feature "tubs for two" with a view of the fireplace. We offer a few rooms with two beds for friends or families who travel together. A full country breakfast is served family style in our dining room each morning. Join us to tour our historical sights, shop for antiques & collectibles, golf bicycle or visit our local wineries. Many guest return just to relax and restore their sense of well being.
