House On McGill, Toronto, Ontario
The House on McGill is a stately Victorian home built in 1892 on a quiet, shady, residential street in the heart of Toronto. We have taken pride to fully restore, modernise with new fixtures, and decorate with antique furnishings. Our six bedrooms have varying sizes, views and unique styles, some with fantastic overlooks to the skyscrapers downtown or our back garden. A cozy guest living room is provided with TV, VCR, books and an ornamental fireplace. As well there is a new separate guest kitchen/dining room with fridge, microwave, toaster and coffee-maker. New in 1999 will be a breakfast garden/deck. We offer bike rental to explore Toronto's hundreds of miles of forested bycycle paths, customized city tours, laundry service, business tools (fax, computer, Internet), and free local calls. French & Australian are spoken. Located centrally in downtown Toronto, one of the world's great exciting, safe, clean and friendly cities, we are a short walk to the Eaton Centre, Ryerson U, Church St. village, St. Lawrence Market, theatres, transit, U of T, and so much more.
