The Dolls' House is a late Victorian shingle house located in the heart of historic Annapolis, one half block from the City Dock and Market Square. A one minute walk will take you to charming shops, restaurants or an evening of great music. A five minute walk will take you to the State Capitol or the Naval Academy. The house was originally built for a Maryland judge in 1901. The tiger oak woodwork, Georgian pine floors, brass and tile fireplaces, high ceilings, large windows and marble vestibule reflect the Victorian taste of the period. We've decorated The Dolls' House in 'Victorian whimsey', with furniture and decorations true to the period. Open the front gate, climb the porch steps, and enter a delightful family home decorated with antiques throughout including the owners' private doll collection. Dolls, children's furniture, miniatures and toys will carry you back to an era of hospitality and social graces.

Each of our cozy rooms abounds with old-time creature comforts and childhood memories. The cheery English floral Victorian Suite has a queen size bed, sitting room and private bath with clawfoot tub. The Nutcracker Suite is home to many 'little people' who are said to play and dance once everyone is asleep. The Nutcracker Suite has two double beds in a large bedroom, a sofa bed in the sitting room and a spacious private bath with a claw foot tub. The Master Suite has a queen size iron bed, is serenely decorated in soft pastels and lace, and has its own sitting room and large bathroom with oversize tub.
