Uniquely Chicago, this 1886 Victorian Mansion has been reborn as an Urban Inn. Located on a quiet street of grand old homes in the lively Lincoln Park neighborhood just 2 miles North of the hustle and bustle of Downtown and just West of the park that runs along the lake front. The Inn is casually elegant. All accommodations have eclectic, individual, and Chicago theme decor. Each room or apartment, named after a Chicago author, has rich fabrics, interesting antiques and found objects and beautiful, comfortable beds, Throughout there is a wealth of Chicago art and artifacts, books about Chicago and by Chicago authors, The 7000 square foot main house has five guest rooms and large common areas with fireplaces. In the coach house, at the back of the property, there are three self-contained apartments with jetted tubs and fireplaces. Between the buildings is an ivy covered courtyard garden where guests can have breakfast or sip a glass of lemonade after a busy day.
