Back Forty Of Fredericksburg, Fredericksburg, Texas
Historic rock homestead on forty acres of beautiful valley with lakes and liveoaks, pecans, and elm trees. Just at the edge of Fredericksburg with a feeling of seclusion and peacefulness that is unparalleled. There is a wonderful shaded picnic spot by the lake that is complete with campfire site and hammock where guests can relax and read, or, fish. Flyfishing instructor available.

The little rock Guest House was the original barn on the property that was built in 1860 by German immigrants, on the bank of Baron's Creek. Commanche Indians wintered here before the German's settled, and arrowheads have been gathered since that time. The history of the area is both wonderful and intriguing.
