A newly restored 1649 Homestead and 1795 Carriage House overlooking formal gardens and the Oyster River and the Old Mill Falls offers a captivating glimpse of Colonial country life.

Twenty four elegantly appointed guest rooms include fireplaces, four poster beds with cozy Edwardian bed drapes, fine Georgian Mahogany furnishings, hand carved full size desks with 2 incoming telephone lines and data ports, original wood floors, oriental rugs,and tapestries. Additional comforts include two person tub/showers, and whirlpools.

"Maples" with it's four fireplaces and Chippendale furnishings offers fine dining in an authentic revolutionary era atmosphere. The "Tavern" with its granite walls, cooking hearth fireplace, and massive beamed ceilings provides for intimate casual dining. "The Conservatory" is a delightful outdoor place to enjoy relaxed dining in the shade of an old English Grape Arbor.

Among the features which are provided with compliments are a full breakfast, served at table, turn down service, welcome basket, and afternoon tea.

The Inn offers private dining rooms, and conference rooms suitable for business meetings, parties and weddings. "Orchards" with its windows overlooking the formal gardens seats 30, and larger banquet room serves 80 persons. The terraced gardens overlooking the Great Bay is a popular place for outdoor weddings.
