St Andrews Hotel, Port Isaac, United Kingdom
Built at the turn of the century as a private residence , the house stands above the little sandy beach of Port Gaverne, with magnificent sea views across the bay to Tintagel Castle and beyond to Hartland some 40 miles away.It was converted to a hotel in the late 1920's and has since then attracted visitors for its location and views.
The 12th Century village fishing village of Port Isaac, thankfully little changed to this day, is a maze of paths and alleyways all leading down to the harbour where to this day you can still sit and watch the boats offload their catches
