Come and enjoy the quiet, romantic ambiance of Lake Superior's South Shore and let nature embrace you with breathtaking sunsets. Watch soaring bald eagles, gulls, and a large variety of wild birds. Whitetail deer, bear,fox and racoons frequent the grounds. During winter months we feed up to forty deer right in our front yard. Guests may help feed or just enjoy watching.
Enjoy a quiet night's sleep in the "Chickadee Room" featuring a queen size bed with a luxurious Cabin Fever Quilt, a large bathroom with a double whirlpool tub and your own private entrance. For quiet times, our guests may find a book in the library or choose a movie from our large video collection.
A full breakfast for our guests is served in our gracious formal dining room. Early risers may help themselves to coffee and fresh rolls or muffins. Our guests may also have daytime access to a lovely upstairs sitting room and deck for a spectacular view of Lake Superior.
Bark Point Inn is located on Bark Point Road near Herbster, Wisconsin on Highway 13. The South Shore Area offers a number of gift and antique shops, including Cabin Fever Quilt Company (on the premises) which displays artistic picture quilts created by your innkeeper, Connie Daniel. The area also offers fine eating establishments for your dining pleasure.
