The lodge is located on 40 secluded acres of cedar wetlands on the south end of Squirrel Lake. The great room has 26-foot cathedral ceilings, a massive fieldstone fireplace, an all glass prow front facing the lake, with access to 100-foot wrap around deck. Two room types are available. Loft rooms contain queen beds with private unattached bath. The master suite has a king bed and private attached whirlpool bath and shower. Guests have complete access to the great room for reading, board games or just sitting by the fire. A full homemade breakfast is provided each morning with fresh ground coffee, breads, muffins, juice and seasonal fruit. Dietary restrictions are accommodated with prior notification. The lodge is open year-round providing mountain bikes, canoes, paddleboat and kayak for guests. Sit on the pier and watch eagles/osprey fish the lake while the cry of the loon resounds off the water and ducks paddle nearby. Winter months provide easy access to snowmobile trails (1/4 mile) and cross-country skiing (1 1/2 miles). Squirrel Lake, one of Wisconsin's premier fishing waters, provides summer and winter enjoyment.
