Aurora View Inn on the Mountain is just three minutes from downtown Juneau but a world apart. Aurora View is located at the highest elevation you can drive to in Juneau, at 835 ft. on Mt. Troy. The area has spectacular views -- it is a prime photo spot that tour guides take their clients to.
Aurora not only has the view but also the privacy. We are backed up against the Tongass National Forest with over 35,000 acres of virgin Forest, Streams, and Mountains. There are the famed Treadwell Mining and Dan Moller Trails that are great for hiking just out your backdoor.
We have 2 Rooms with private entrances, baths, 210 Channel satellite TV, phones, stocked refrigerators, and coffee pots/grinders. There is a Sauna and 7 person Hydrotherapy Spa by Hot Springs that is located in a gazebo that overlooks City and Harbor. Both room have pillowtop beds and luxury bedding. Also, robes are provided for the spa.
