The Inn On Golden Pond is an impressive country home built in 1879, located near Squam Lake, setting for the classic film, "On Golden Pond." The area is inspiring for its simplicity and while many choose to visit to be inactive there are also many opportunities for the active as well. Year round you'll find numerous superior restaurants and plenty of good shopping. Outdoor recreational activities abound. The Inn is known for its refreshingly friendly yet professional atmosphere. Furnished to provide maximum comfort, rooms are decorated in traditional country style. Morning is a time of distinction at the Inn. Aromas of freshly brewed coffee drift to guest rooms, and each day you will be treated to a full breakfast featuring homebaked breads and muffins, homemade jams, and a variety of delicious house specialties.
