The Sulphur Springs Inn, circa 1905, is the only standing bathhouse in Sulphur, Oklahoma. It is nestled at the edge of the healing waters of the Chickasaw National Park in the Arbuckle Mountain Region. Guests at the Inn can walk out of the front door, into the park and on to the more than eighteen miles of maintained trails. Homemade herbal soaps, aromatherapy and natural beauty treatments are a few of the special touches offered. The gift shop is designed to support local artists by displaying and selling their creations. The Sulphur Springs Inn is owned by Cheri Ortiz-Bowen, MSW, and operated by Dignified Daring Dames,Inc. The corporation has designed the Inn to be a spiritual retreat center providing, in addition to overnight lodging, pre-scheduled professionally staffed retreats and life celebration ceremonies. The Sulphur Springs Inn is more than a place to stay, it is a sanctuary to experience. The Inn has been referred to as "the most unique weekend get-a-way between Dallas and Oklahoma City".
