The Farnsworth House, located in a beautiful quiet country setting was built in 1968, and currently also serves as the home of your host's piano restoration business. The home is located on 10 acres of land, 20 minutes from Indiana, Pennsylvania, hometown of movie actor Jimmy Stewart. The house is beautifully decorated in the common areas and each bedroom is decorated in its own theme and has a private bath. You will be served a hearty farmer's style breakfast in the dining room that seats 8 or the kitchen nook overlooking the meadow. The house has many treats from the dining room gas lights, to the winding staircase leading to the library inspired by My Fair Lady. On a cool evening, select a book from the 1000 titles and sit in front of the warm inviting fireplace or enjoy a nice game of pool on the 1915 Brunswick table. For piano enthusiasts, you can hear George Gershwin playing Rhapsody In Blue on one of our player pianos or play one of the pianos yourself.
