Bird Song Cottage is a potpouri of Victorian whimsy that speaks to the heart. Many guests have been moved to poetry describing their stay. A Lavender and white gingerbread cottage with porch swings on a old fashioned veranda overlooks an English garden and trickling fountain beckoning all who see it to come in and dream awhile. Hand-painted floral and winged fancy adorn the walls setting a perfect backdrop for lifesized oil portrait paintings, in the guest lounge. Here you can sip a cup of tea in front of the fire, play the variety of musical instruments (Grand Piano, Harp, Pump organ)or try on our fancy hat colection for fun and laughs! All three finely feathered 'nests' are Ensuite. Lace trimmed cotton linens , fresh flowers and fluffy duvets imbue the sweetest of dreams. When you arise, you morning fare is presented in an airy sun filled room with handpainted garden scenes on fine china. It's always a visual and culinary delight and we cater to special diets.
