Cradled in the heart of Jefferson's Virginia, The Inn at Meander Plantation offers a rare opportunity to experience the charm and elegance of Colonial living at its best. This historic country estate, which dates to 1766, allows guests to return to an earlier, more romantic time when hospitality was a matter of pride and fine living was an art practiced in restful surroundings.



The stately Colonial mansion offers grand parlors for pleasant conversation or private nooks for quiet contemplation. Eight sun-drenched bedrooms welcome you with warmth and comfort. Each, tastefully appointed and furnished with antiques and period reproductions, offers queen bed and private bath, many have fireplaces.



Sumptuous gourmet meals are served in the spacious formal dining room or, on sun-warmed mornings, under the arched breezeway or on the expansive back porches with their breathtaking mountain views and next-to-nature nearness to the herb gardens and bustling bird feeders. Boxwood gardens, strategically-placed hammock, and wooden rockers beckon after a day of leisurely expoloration of nearby attractions, winetasting or horseback riding arranged by your innkeepers.



The graceful rooms and gardens are exceptional sites for wedding receptions, private parties or productive business meetings in a smoke-free environment. Rates range from $110 to $225. Children are welcomed, as are pets in some rooms. 50% deposit is fully refundable with 14 days notice. Visa, Mastercard, American Express accepted.
