Roebling Inn On The Delaware, Lackawaxen, Pennsylvania

This is a great place to savor the beauty of the surrounding mountains and sparkling rivers. Many guests spend some time on the river; rentals (discounted) are nearby April thru October. Trout, bass & shad fishing are popular (guide and drift boat available nearby). Hiking and horseback-riding are popular activities. We have created a self-guided tour that encompasses driving and hiking and waterfalls. The "towpath" of the Delaware and Hudson Canal is now a road along the Lackawaxen River. It's nice and flat, with not too much traffic, so it's suitable for biking or jogging. Autumn is a special time to canoe--the leaves are reflected in the water! Excellant restaurants are nearby and we have menus for many. After dinner, enjoy cookies & hot tea here. Stargaze from the front porch in summer. Enjoy the fireplace in the sitting room in winter. (Some guestrooms have a fireplace as well.) Nearby indoor pool/spa available (fee). Now in our 18th year, we hope you'll come for a visit.
