Clanville Manor, with its wisteria-clad Carystone walls, polished English Oak stairs and flagstone hall, has been home to the Snook family for 110 years, and we are privileged to share it with B&B guests. Enjoy a cup of tea by the log fire or under the walnut tree, walk beside the River Brue, swim in the heated outdoor pool, or watch the suckler beef herd as they graze in the fields. Although Clanville Manor is in an idyllic, private position, it is only 2 miles from the bustling town of Castle Cary, and is within an easy drive of Glastonbury, Wells and Bath. the house is approached , from the B3153, by a private drive and there is ample, safe parking behind the house. Castle Cary station is 1 mile away but, being in rural Somerset, other public transport is not very frequent, so we recommend that you use a car to explore the area.
