"Reminiscent of the Doors of Dublin, the entrance to 670 Whitney Avenue welcomes you with the warmth and hospitality that Michael and Jeannine have brought back from their trips to Ireland".



Located at the edge of the Yale campus, in the East Rock section of the city, this 1920's center hall colonial renovated in 1999 is both convenient and inviting. For the business traveler we are located about a mile and a half from New Haven's commercial center and approximately ten minutes from North Haven and West Haven. The B&B offers ample off street parking and the Yale Transit and city bus stop just one house away.



The large first floor Living Room across the foyer from the Dining Room where a full gourmet breakfast is served each morning. In the warmer weather breakfast is served in the Sun Room which is adjacent to the Living Room. These rooms comprise the common area where guests may visit with their hosts or other guests in front of a crackling fire, listen to music or curl up with a good book. During the warm weather guests are invited to sit outside and enjoy the beautifully landscaped gardens and backyard.



Your room, with private bath awaits each guest at the end of the day. All 4 bedrooms are located on the second floor, one contains a queen 1920's vintage mahogany bed, the second a queen antique brass bed, the third a queen metal bed and the fourth has twin mahogany beds. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and air conditioning units. There is a designated phone for guests on the first and second floors and high speed wireless Internet Access is available for those guests with a lap-top.



Smokey, who is not allowed in the guest rooms, is our cat in residence.
