A very warm welcome awaits you at our 18th century listed Barn set in beautiful gardens. DeLuxe bedrooms, en-suite or private bathroom, invigorating “Power Shower”, colour TV, Tea/Coffee, radio/alarm etc.

The Old barn is situated in the heart of the "Darling buds of May country", and is a good central base for visiting all the local sights, including; Sissinghurst Castle and Gardens, (Vita Sackville-West and Harold Nicholson), Leeds Castle ("The prettiest castle in the world"), The moated Bodiam Castle. Why not also visit: Tenterden, home of the Kent & Sussex Steam Railway, and our local villages which include: Smarden (for the timber framed houses), Pluckley where "The darling buds of May" was filmed, reputed to be the most haunted village in England (Spooooky-we have a map of all the ghost sightings), Appledore and Biddenden (Famous for the 2 maydes).

The cobbled streets of the walled town of Rye, Canterbury and its magnificent Cathederal, are all close by. Ashford, and the International Station is only 10 mins, EuroTunnel 20 mins, Folkestone & Dover for the Castle and Ferries only 30 mins, (All times are approximate and may vary depending on conditions). So why not stay overnight before or after your Continental trip.

Also, we are on the Ashford to Tenterden bus route, and our local station at Pluckley is 3 miles. London is only an hour away, taking you right to the heart of the City or West-End, for Theatres, Museums, and the famous sights.

There is so much to do and see around this area, much more than can be listed here. So why not come and see for yourself.

We are open all year, and offer Bed & Breakfast from £22.50/person/night including excellent traditional full English, or Vegetarian breakfasts. Single room from £30 per night.
