Our home was built in 1856 with rounded walls, neat architectural features, a cozy library with a great fireplace, and painted with original victorian colors. It's a warm and charming place for a relaxing stay in beautiful, historic Barre. Walk to the classic New England Common to enjoy restaurants, shops, decades of architecture and the hubbub of a small town; or take a book from our library and just sit on a park bench to enjoy it and an ice cream cone. Don't forget a drive through the countryside to visit the Brimfield and Hubbardston fleamarkets, the clothing and furniture outlets, Old Sturbridge Village or other world class museums located close by. Breakfast favorites of our guests include Fresh Apple pancakes, Crepes in Orange Sauce and our Homemade breads and jams. It also our pleasure to provide breakfast specialties for vegetarian and vegan guests, as well as those on controlled diets. We hope to hear from you soon!
