Return to the time of Denver's great wealth when you stay in the Capitol Hill Mansion. Built for the Keating Family in 1891, it is one of the last splendid homes erected before the Silver Crash of 1893 when the government stopped buying silver to support the currency.
The spectacular structure was restored and remodeled to become one of Denver's premier bed and breakfast inns when it opened in January 1994. The elegant exterior of ruby sandstone is in a Richardsonian Romanesque style with high turrets, balconies, soaring chimneys and a grand porch.
Every evening, the inn hosts a reception for guests in the parlor serving Colorado wine, cream sherry and a non-alcholic beverage. A hot gourmet breakfast is served from 7:30-9:30 each morning to fit everyone's schedule. The hosts are very accommodating and can provide a variety of services that may be needed on your stay!
