More than a hundred years ago, the mansion was an exciting hub of hospitality for the Mackenzie family & guests. The pendulum has swung back, and visitors today findthemselves surrounded by the charm of yesterday.



Bedrooms have been carefully restored, many have fireplaces, and all have ensuite baths. The Inn boasts a gamesroom, and beautifully appointed salons. The sweep of the broad covered verandah is inviting, day or evening. Enjoy a full, English-style breakfast in grand style.


Throughout your stay, enjoy the tree-shaded lawns and woods of the estate, as well as the unique sculpture gardens. Read about the Inn's past in "The Railway King of Canada", by Dr. Rae Fleming. This book, and others about the district and its history are available at the inn.
