Our Victorian Queen Anne home, complete with original stained glass windows, is furnished with period pieces and antiques. Our spacious; and elegant rooms are named in honor of some of our favorite authors, and each includes selections of their works. They include Mark Twain, Laura Ingalls Wilder, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Louisa May Alcott, E. B. White, and Charles Dickens. After a good night's sleep in one of our comfortable beds, enjoy a full breakfast in our formal dining room.



We are located in Carthage, Missouri - a charming Victorian town situated on historic Route 66. Here, brothers fought the first land battle of the Civil War and mined stone that became the wealth used to build the grand houses standing today as testament to an age gone by.
